About Dan

Originally from Battle Creek, MI, Dan came to the Anchorage area early in 1970 after requesting to be stationed here while serving in the USAF.  He and his wife, Pat, drove the Alcan Highway and were convinced they had found a new home before they arrived in Anchorage.  They chose to remain in Anchorage after leaving the Air Force and begin their family here. 

Dan worked for a local communications company for the next eight years.  He then started his career in real estate.  In 1987 he joined with Re/Max Properties and has worked there ever since.

Today Dan is a CRS, GRI and associate broker.  He was awarded Realtor of the Year in 2003 by the Anchorage Board of Realtors and has received the Re/Max Hall of Fame award.  Dan and Pat live in south Anchorage and have two grown children.  Dan enjoys the outdoors, is an avid fisherman, and loves to cook.  He never misses the opportunity to share the beauty of Alaska with friends and relatives.
